Kodak’s full name is Bill Kahan Kapri, but most people know him by his stage name Kodak Black. He first got recognition in 2014 after the release of the single No Flockin.

He was born on 11 June 1997 in Pompano Beach, Florida. His born name was Dieuson Octave. He was raised by his mother, Marcelene Octave, in a public housing project Golden Acres in Pompano Beach. His mother is a Haitian immigrant.
